Audition Information!

Truckee Community Theater welcomes actors of all levels to come try out to be in our productions. Whether you come from a strong theatre background or have never performed on a stage before, we welcome you to try out.  We are always looking for talent.   See our Auditions Tips page for more information that will help you to be successful!

Auditions are held at the Truckee Community Arts Center 10046 Church Street, Truckee CA unless otherwise specified. Please review audition information carefully and let us know if you have any questions

Callbacks May 26 by invitation

No experience necessary / Volunteer / AEA Welcome as well as Non Union.

Casting 20-25 adults age 18-up
Principal Roles: Woman 18-25/Men 30-60/ Teen Boy 15-17/ Girls 8-12 / Boy 8-12
Children/Teen  Ensemble: Ages 8-17

Orientation. July 29
Rehearsals begin: August 18 - Adults/Leads  and August 26 for Children's ensemble.

Children's Rehearsals:  Tuesdays and Wednesdays 4:00PM-5:30PM
Adults and Principals:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 5PM-9PM (Children under 18 excused at 8PM)

Tech Week: November 2-5
Performances: Weekends November 7-16
